Suspect charged after armed robbery in Wabasca

RCMP says a 30-year-old man is facing charges after an armed robbery in Wabasca.

Mounties say that on November 14 just after 1:30 in the afternoon, a man went into a store, pointed a firearm and demanded money and cigarettes.

The suspect then fled but was arrested a short time later.

Preston James Yellowknee of Wabasca is facing charges that include robbery with a firearm, two counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and possession of property obtained by crime.
