Nov 25, 2024 | 6:00 AM

Grande Prairie residential snow clearing gets underway today. (Monday, November 25)

Parking bans will also be in effect from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., on both Priority 1 and 2 roads, as crews work to remove the snow accumulated over the weekend.

Residential snow removal will start its two-week rotation in the Hillside, Mountview and VLA/Montrose neighbourhoods, before heading to Patterson, South Patterson, and Southview on Tuesday, November 26.

Crystal Heights, Crystal Landing, Summit and Ivy Lake Estates neighbourhoods will then start the Week B rotation on Monday, December 2, with crews expected to be finished by Friday, December 6.

In a release, Transportation Director Wade Nellis is encouraging residents to stay up to date with snow removal, by visiting the City’s website.
