City of Grande Prairie offering free trips to GPAT clients to Northern Spirit Light Show

Nov 26, 2024 | 6:00 AM

The City of Grande Prairie is offering free trips to the light show at Evergreen Park for people with “physical and cognitive impairments.”

Registered Clients with Grande Prairie Accessible Transit (GPAT) will be able to get a free round-trip to the Northern Spirit Light Show throughout December.

The trip includes a drive through the light displays, as well as a route around town showcasing house decorations.

GPAT is a ride sharing service for city and county residents that are unable to use regular transit due to physical or cognitive impairments.

“Grande Prairie Accessible Transit plays a vital role in fostering connectivity and inclusivity in our community. Providing free transportation to the Northern Spirit Lights Show ensures GPAT customers can enjoy this festive experience while enhancing social connection and community well-being.”
