Eagles double Storm in Grande Prairie

The Storm dropped their final home game of the 2024 part of their schedule Friday night, losing 4-2 to Canmore.

Logan Cunningham and Tomis Marinkovic had the Storm goals.

The announced attendance was 1604.

The loss also dropped the Storm into second place in the North Division, as Whitecourt beat the Thunder 5-2 in Drayton Valley Friday night.

The Wolverines now have 40 points to the Storm’s 38. The Storm will have two games in hand after Whitecourt plays host to Canmore Saturday night.

Grande Prairie will play three road games in Calgary and Canmore next weekend, the last games before the Christmas break.
