UPDATE: Lakeshore Regional Police say missing man found safe

UPDATE: Police say Edward Calliou has been located and is safe.

Lakeshore Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 53-year-old man.

Edward Calliou was last seen just before 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 11 at the Napa Auto Parts store in High Prairie.

Calliou is described as six feet tall, 200 pounds with grey, short hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey hoodie, tan coveralls and a black winter jacket.

He was driving a burgundy 2004 GMC Sierra with an Alberta license plate numbered CTL 4529. It also had a diesel slip tank in the back, a loud exhaust and after-market back tires that are bigger than the front ones.

Police say it is unusual for Calliou to go this long without being in contact with his family.
