Road Now Cleared

Collision closes down 116 Street

Update at 9:30 p.m. on Thursday December 19, 2024 – RCMP say the scene at Range Road 63/116 Street has been cleared. More details regarding this incident are expected to be released by officials.

Grande Prairie RCMP has now sent out a release regarding the caller-reported collision on the corner of 116 Street, also known as Range Road 63, and 132 Avenue, also known as Township Road 720, north of Bear Creek Golf Course.

Ice is believed to have been a factor.

Mounties say the road is closed from the Highway 43x traffic circle to 104 Avenue as crews work.
