Three new doctors practising in Fairview

Alberta Health Service is welcoming three new family physicians to the community of Fairview, just in time for the holidays and new year.

The Fairview Health Complex and Fairview Medical Clinic is happy to announce the three new doctors will be supporting the local emergency department, inpatient and outpatient services, and long-term care.

They are Dr. Abdullah Elashkel, Dr. Salem Elmgadmi and Dr. Ali Abolkasim. The trio recieved their medical training in Libya.

MLA for Central Peace Notely Tood Loewen said in an AHS release; “We are thrilled to welcome three new physicians to Fairview, as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen healthcare services in our community.”

“Attracting and retaining physicians is a top priority for us, and we are committed to working with our partners to ensure residents have access to the care they need, close to home.”
