Public assistance wanted in string of break and enters around Grande Prairie

Jan 9, 2025 | 12:00 PM

Mounties in Grande Prairie say several industrial area businesses/properties along Highway 40 and 668 were broken into this week.

It is believed the string of break-and-enters appear to have occurred between January 6 and 8, 2025. Police were notified of these occurences on the following days/mornings.

RCMP in the Swan City are asking for the public’s help, including businesses, to review security camera footage they may have to assist them in investigating these break-and-enters.

Footage can help identify suspects or vehicles associated to these incidents, as well as for business owners to check their premises for signs of break in or theft to ensure they too, did not fall victim.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700, or your local police.

If you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8377 (TIPS), online at www.P3Tips.com, or by using the “P3 Tips” app available through the Apple App or Google Play Store.
