CrossRoads Crop Conference set for January 28 and 29

It is billed as Alberta’s crop conference.

The CrossRoads Crop Conference is set for January 28 and 29 in Edmonton.

It is organized by Alberta Canola, Alberta Grains and Alberta Pulse Growers and replaces the old Farm Tech conference.

The event’s website says people coming can lean about sustainable practices and technological advances, among other things. Fairview’s Kim Ruether will be among the speakers.

Organizers expect 500 people, 60 per cent of them farmers and the rest industry people, to attend.
