PWPSD celebrates 2024 Academic Excellence Awards

Peace Wapiti Public School Division recognized 16 2024 graduates Thursday with the annual Academic Excellence Awards.

The awards are given out to students who either had an average of at least 90 per cent or were the top academic student in their school.

The recipients received a certificate and $100, with the highest average receiving $300.

Special congratulations are being given to Hannah Parrish of Ridgevalley School for earning the top marks in her school, and Hannah Wiens of Peace Wapiti Academy for receiving academic excellence over 90 per cent and the highest average across the division with an average of 98.4 per cent.
