Canadiens forward Dach set to miss remainder of season after undergoing knee surgery
BROSSARD, Que. — Kirby Dach will miss the rest of the NHL season.
The Montreal Canadiens announced Friday that the forward has undergone successful surgery on his injured right knee and is expected to make a full recovery before the start of next season.
The 24-year-old last played in Montreal’s 5-2 win over the Ottawa Senators on Feb. 22.
It’s the second straight season that a knee injury has ended Dach’s campaign, after he tore his ACL and MCL in the same knee in his second game of 2023-24.
