ODRs in Grande Prairie beginning to close down

Outdoor rinks in the City of Grande Prairie are closed due to the warm temperatures.

Hockey nets have all been removed and the City asks residents to not use these surfaces.

Instead, the ice at Muskoseepi Park remains open, along with the MCC Skating Oval, with City crews working this weekend to ensure it’s in good condition.

The City says if temperatures drop back down below freezing rinks will be re-opened, but if not they will stay closed for the season.
