Final day of Peace Country Classic Agri-Show, skijoring cancelled

Evergreen Park says the skijoring that was set to be the final event at the Peace Country Classic Agri-Show on Saturday has been cancelled.

Park officials say in a news release that the track is unsafe for horses after the recent freeze/thaw weather conditions.

The rest of the Horse Program events, the Youth Livestock Program, trade show, craft show and sale, and the petting zoo all went ahead as scheduled.

The show is open until 4 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen Park.
