Rycroft School meal program now offering free meals Friday

A previously student-paid meal program at Rycroft School is now fully funded and free for students and staff.

Every Friday, the students of Rycroft are ensured a warm meal, regardless of financial circumstances.

School Council members Larissa Parliament and Santana Orel say seeing the program evolve has been extremely rewarding.

Parliament says the program is fully funded through the donations of local businesses and organizations and is run by a team of dedicated volunteers.
