City Hall hosting virtual information session on clean energy financing for contractors

The City of Grande Prairie is inviting local contractors to attend a virtual information session later this month on energy-efficient upgrades.

The session, presented by the city and Alberta Municipalities, is centered around the Clean Energy Improvement Program and explaining how it can help a contractor’s clients finance their clean energy projects.

Participants will learn how CEIP works, its benefits and how to apply, followed by a Q&A with program experts.

Event organizer Kierstyn Otterman says CEIP offers property owners an accessible way to invest in energy-efficient upgrades while enhancing property value and reducing energy costs.

The session is happening online March 28; pre-registration is needed to get the meeting link.

It is open to contractors not yet enrolled with CEIP.
