High Prairie ED closed overnight

The High Prairie Health Complex Emergency Department will be closed overnight (Saturday, March 22 – Sunday, March 23) starting at 11 p.m.

AHS says this is due to “a gap in registered nurse (RN) coverage,” and calls it a temporary measure, with the ED re-opening tomorrow at 7 a.m.

Residents are still asked to call 911 in case of emergency, with EMS rerouting patients to neighbouring facilities.
