ATCO reporting several power outages in the Peace

UPDATE 2: The power outage that had impacted over 200 ATCO customers in the Richmond Industrial Park has ended, according to the ATCO outages map.

Defective equipment was given as the cause.

There were also smaller outages today west of the airport, and in both the Webster and Sexsmith areas. Those have all been fixed.

A scheduled outage in the Guy area that is affecting fewer than 10 customers is supposed to end soon.

UPDATE 1: ATCO says while the power is back on for some customers, an outage is still affecting part of the Richmond Industrial Park.

ATCO says defective equipment is believed to be the cause

ATCO says the power should be back to these remaining customers by 4 p.m.

An outage west of the airport and Range Road 65, north of Highway 43, along with one in the Webster area, have been fixed.

There is an outage in the Sexsmith area impacting fewer than 10 customers that is also supposed to be fixed by 4 p.m.

An outage that started between Guy and New Fish Creek just after 9 a.m. today is also affecting fewer than 10 customers. It is supposed to be fixed by 5 p.m.

ATCO says a power outage is affecting a large part of the Richmond Industrial Park.

ATCO says defective equipment is believed to be the cause of the outage that started just before 10:30 Thursday morning.

There are 216 customers impacted.

ATCO says the power should be back on by 3 p.m. Thursday.

A second outage has been reported in the area west of the airport and Range Road 65, north of Highway 43.

It started just after 7 a.m. Thursday. It was supposed to be fixed by 11 a.m. but is still listed on the ATCO outages map.

There is also an outage in the Webster area that is supposed to be fixed this afternoon.

Fewer than 10 customers are impacted by an outage that started between Guy and New Fish Creek just after 9 a.m. Thursday. It is supposed to be fixed by 5 p.m.
