NWP Practical Nurse class graduates with 100% pass rate

Apr 8, 2025 | 7:00 AM

Northwestern Polytechnic’s Practical nursing program graduates have achieved a 100 per cent pass rate for the second year in a row.

NWP says this cohort exceeded national and jurisdictional averages in all exam categories, including critical thinking, foundations of practice, and professional, ethical and legal practice.

NWP School of Health Dean Megan Stone says this accomplishment is an encouraging nod to the quality of graduates joining the healthcare workforce.

Department Chair Tia Hudson says these results speak to the dedication of the graduates and the faculty who support them.

NWP President and CEO Dr. Vanessa Sheane says these graduates are positioned to really make a difference in our healthcare system locally and provincially.

The graduates next step is a pre-convocation Pinning Ceremony in June.
