GPRTA marking National Tourism Week

This is National Tourism Week, and the Grande Prairie Regional Tourism Association is asking people to help in marking the occasion.
They are being asked to share a picture of their favourite thing to do or place to go in this area on social media, using the hashtags #GPTourism and #TourismWeekCanada2025.
The association is also featuring local attractions, experiences and businesses on its social media and collaborating with businesses and governments to promote tourism in this area.
The association adds in a news release that there is a goal to have visitor spending reach $296 million in and around Grande Prairie by 2026.
