Village of Berwyn seeking to extend audit deadline

Village of Berwyn Council has directed administration to request an extension for the submission of the village’s 2024 financial statements.
At their meeting Thursday, council confirmed that the audit is currently in progress, but various delays have made it unlikely it will be completed by the May 1 deadline.
An extension from Alberta Municipal Affairs is being sought to allow the needed time to complete the work.
