Hit and run collision shuts down Highway 2 north of Sexsmith

Grande Prairie RCMP say they are currently on scene at a hit and run motor vehicle collision on Highway 2.

The approximate location of the collision happened north of Sexsmith, near Highway 674.

As a result, Highway 2 Northbound and Highway 674 Eastbound will be closed as units respond and investigation unfolds.

RCMP say they will provide an update with more information when the area reopens for travel.
