Peace River-Westlock riding in need of poll workers

Elections Canada is still looking for election poll workers for the Peace River-Westlock riding.

Elections Canada says about 150 workers are needed to operate the polling stations on Election Day (Monday, April 28).

Interested residents can visit Election Canada’s website and click on jobs to apply, or contact the electoral district directly at 1-866-719-3666.

To apply, residents must be 16 or older and a Canadian citizen.

Successful applicants will be paid between $20.01 and $26.46 an hour for their work on election day, as well as training sessions beforehand.
