High Level armed robbery on a youth under investigation

High Level RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a youth at gunpoint on Sunday, April 20.

Mounties said a youth was riding his bike at the Spirit of the North Community School grounds when a male suspect approached him and pointed a suspected firearm at the head of the youth, and demanded their bike.

Mounties say the suspect then fled on the bike northwest, towards 106 Street.

Police Dogs were unsuccessful in locating the suspect, however, the bike was recovered in an alley on 106 Street.

Police are now looking for a man described as pale, with a slim build, lightly coloured and missing teeth, wearing red pants with a white pattern; who may have been seen on a bike travelling northwest towards 106 Street between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. last Sunday.
