PRSD announces 2025 Edwin Parr Teacher Award nominee

Peace River School Division has announced their nominee for an award recognizing new teachers.
Worsley Central School first-year teacher Mikaela Tegart has been nominated for the 2025 Edwin Parr Teacher Award.
Worsley Principal Jennifer Daniel says Tegart demonstrates empathy and genuine care for others by frequently checking in with students identified as needing additional support.
Tegart will be celebrated by PRSD at the Worsley Central Long Term Service staff awards and at the ASBA Zone 1 annual general meeting in the fall, where one Zone 1 nominee will be selected as the award winner.
