Grande Prairie RCMP investigating armed robberies

Grande Prairie RCMP say a male youth has been arrested after three separate reports of armed robberies.

All three happened over Monday and Tuesday, April 28 and 29.

One was at the Curry Flames restaurant in the south part of Grande Prairie.

The other two were at Circle K stores. Mounties did not give specific locations.

Police do say that in all three hold-ups, a lone male with a knife entered the business and demanded cash. He left after being given some money.

The investigation continues.
