Elks players to give instruction to local football players

Some local football players have a chance to get some instruction from some CFL players this weekend.

The Edmonton Elks are bringing their EE Hometown Tour to the Crosslink County Sportsplex Friday and Saturday.

There will be camps for local players aged 11-18.

The camps for minor football players will start at 6 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday. High school camps follow at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

The cost is $140 for each participant. Players will need to bring their own equipment.
