PWPSD announced Edwin Parr Award Nominee

Peace Wapiti Public School Division has revealed their nominee for the Edwin Parr Award, which honours first-year teachers.

Bailey Gardecki, who teaches Grade 1 and 2, has been recognized for her outstanding first year at Eaglesham School.

Eaglesham School principal Mark Pelley says Gardecki has proven herself to be a valuable part of the staff and shown a consistent effort to improve her practice.

Gardecki says that her first year has been amazing and she is looking forward going into next fall.

The Alberta School Boards Association will present the Edwin Parr Teacher Awards during their Zone 1 meeting in the fall, where six nominees will be celebrated as award recipients.
