HFCRD nominates STM teacher for Excellence in Catholic Education award

A St. Thomas More teacher was recognized for her commitment to Catholic Education at an event Thursday.

Presented annually by the Council of Catholic School Superintendents of Alberta, the Excellence in Catholic Education Award honours teacher who inspire students, nurture faith and demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education.

Lori Fox has been selected as Holy Family Catholic Regional Division’s nominee in recognition of her service, humility and lasting impact.

STM principal Thomas Fraser says Fox is a pillar of the school community and they are blessed to have her.

HFCRD Superintendent Betty Turpin says Fox embodies the spirit of Catholic Education through her selfless service, compassion and quiet strength.

The Excellence in Catholic Education Award nominees were honoured at the CCSSA’s Sharing Purpose in Catholic Education retreat Thursday, May 1.
