The Grande Prairie Piranhas will host their Northern Lights Swim Meet Friday through Sunday at the Eastlink Centre

A post on the city’s website says 400 athletes and fans will be at the competition.

The meet will mean that some facilities will not be available to the public at times.

On Friday, the diving boards are unavailable all day. The 25 metre pool, 50 metre competition pool sauna and steam room are unavailable starting at 2 p.m. There are swim time slots for up to 100 people at other parts of the facility from 4-6 p.m, 6-7:30 p.m. and 7:30-9 p.m.

On Saturday and Sunday, there is no public access before noon and most of the same facilities will not be available all day Saturday and until 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Swim slot times are 12-2, 2-4, 4-6 and 6-8 p.m. on Saturday and 12-2 and 2-4 p.m. on Sunday.

Regular public swimming will resume at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
