$200K win on scratch ticket in High Prairie

A High Prairie local is $200,000 richer from a $10 100X THE CASH scratcher.

Dale Smith says he enjoys playing instant-win lottery games like LIGHTNING LOTTO, POKER LOTTO, and the classic Scratch & Win tickets.

Smith bought two Scratch and Win tickets on the day of the win, and says he couldn’t believe his eyes when the $200K winner was scanned.

He says he called his wife and she didn’t believe him and thought he was lying.

Smith wants to take the money straight to the bank and save it for a rainy day.

The winning ticket was purchased at the High Prairie Esso on 53 Avenue.
