Grande Prairie Army Cadets Drill Team wins two provincial awards

The Grande Prairie Army Cadets Drill Team won a pair of awards at the recent Kozar Cup provincial competition.

They won the Army Cadet Provincial Drill Competition and Master Warrant Officer Amie May won the award for top drill team commander.

The competition was held May 1 in Edmonton.

There were around a half dozen teams that took part in the competition.

The Grande Prairie Army Navy and Sea Cadets are at the Tri-Service Drill Competition this weekend. It is also taking place in Edmonton, but at a different venue.
