$30k donated to Bonanza School by Storm Development Corp.

A generous donation has been received by a school within the Peace Wapiti Public School Division.

Bonanza School is the recipient of a $30,000 donation by Storm Development Corp.

Incoming Principal of Bonanza School Mrs. Nikita Young says it was a wonderful surprise, in a news release.

“When Storm Development Corp. asked what we needed for our school we shared a few ideas, but never expected such a large donation.”

The Storm Development Corp’s Administrative Services Coordinator Connie Edwards said in a letter to the school, “I understand that you need microscopes, upgrading your photocopier, resources, bussing for swimming lessons, and possibly a walking track. We are happy to contribute to any of these initiatives so feel free to use the money wherever it is most needed.”

Mrs. Young says the funds will be used for upgraded equipment in the upcoming academic year and appreciates the ongoing support from local businesses and the community.
