City of Grande Prairie to begin 2025 road rehabilitation work May 20

Road rehabilitation work is set to begin in the City of Grande Prairie Tuesday, May 20.

The City is advancing its 2025 capital construction season with roadwork planned along Royal Oaks Drive, 102 Street and 102A Street.

The work includes asphalt milling, storm sewer repairs, overlay paving and line marking.

Traffic will be reduced to single-lane alternating, and transit services may be disrupted while the work is ongoing.

The work is expected to go till the end of July.
