HFCRD appoints new Superintendent

Holy Family Catholic Regional Division has announced their new superintendent.

Effective August 1, Victoria Cornick will be taking the role currently held by Betty Turpin.

Cornick has been with HFCRD for 20 years, having started as a teacher at St. Stephen’s School in Valleyview in 2005, and later serving as vice principal and principal for several schools, before becoming Assistant Superintendent of Human Services in 2024.

Cornick says the division has been her home for 20 years and she is honoured and excited to step into this new role.

Outgoing Superintendent Betty Turpin says she has worked with Cornick her entire time with HFCRD and that her thoughtful approach and unwavering commitment make her the perfect choice to lead the division.
