City hosting Stompede Breakfast Wednesday morning

The City of Grande Prairie is celebrating the 2025 Stompede with a free breakfast event Wednesday.

Residents and visitors are invited to attend and enjoy a morning of food, friendly faces and western cheer, with western outfits encouraged to help set the tone.

Mayor Jackie Clayton and members of City Council will be attending the event.

“The Stompede is a long-standing tradition in our community and this breakfast is a great way to show our pride and hospitality. Council is looking forward to connecting with residents and welcoming everyone to this year’s festivities.”
