Street sweeping in Grande Prairie begins June 2

The City of Grande Prairie is set to begin street sweeping operations Monday, June 2.

Street cleaning is done annually to help maintain clean and safe neighbourhood streets.

The street sweepers will follow the same neighbourhood pattern as the snow clearing, alternating between Week A and Week B neighbourhoods.

Street sweeping will begin Monday in the Hillside, Mountview, and VLA/Montrose neighbourhoods.

While parking enforcement is not in effect during the sweeping, residents are encouraged to move their vehicles off the road on their scheduled day.
