Aquatera hosting Recycling Roundup at Eco Centre June 7

Aquatera Utilities Inc, and Alberta Recycling are holding a family event June 7 at the Eco Centre.

Organizers say the annual Recycling Roundup offers a convenient way to dispose of materials like electronics, batteries, paint and ammunition while learning about how the Eco Centre protects the environment.

Many of these products require special handling to ensure they’re disposed of safely. Improper disposal can contaminate our land, water, and air, and pose serious risks to both human and environmental health.

A shredding truck will be on site for the event so customers can safely dispose of sensitive documents as well.
