RCMP MCU investigates stabbing death in John d’Or Prairie

Fort Vermillion RCMP were called to a nursing station in John d’Or Prairie this morning at 3 a.m. (Wednesday, June 4), as a stabbing victim had come into the clinic.

The adult male was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Alberta RCMP’s Major Crimes Unit has now taken over the investigation.

An autopsy will now take place on Friday, June 6, in Edmonton at the Chief Medical Officer’s office.
