This project aims to reduce energy consumption and paper waste by replacing traditional books and photocopies with e-readers in Grade 6 classrooms at St. Catherine School in Grande Prairie, Alberta. By incorporating e-readers, we can drastically reduce paper consumption and printing energy use, teach students about energy efficiency and conservation, analyze and compare carbon footprints, and demonstrate how small technological changes can contribute to a more sustainable future.
