ATCO cutting off natural gas to evacuated homes

GPREP says ATCO Energy has turned off natural gas to 90 homes inside and outside the Kiskatinaw River Wildfire evacuation area.

GPREP said it was a precautionary measure taken to ensure the safety of the area.

ATCO says once the evacuation orders and alerts are lifted, they will send crews to the 90 customers to restore natural gas services.
