Peace Country Hot Tubs cash run for Margaret Edgson Manor fire victims

A community cash run to raise funds for those affected by the Margaret Edgson Manor is being put on by Peace Country Hot Tubs.

Owner, Dave Braun, says their goal is to raise $50,000 by the end of the day tomorrow (Friday, June 13), either through cash or debit donations.

Braun says a lot of the people affected by this fire are without insurance and in desperate need.

To help reach that goal, Peace Country Hot Tubs has started the pot off at $1,000, with Braun adding that he thinks the goal is possible in such a great community like Grande Prairie.

Residents can make a donation by visiting Peace Country Hot Tubs in person until 9 p.m. today, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow, or by calling 587-343-7430.
