Grande Prairie Farmer’s Market traffic & transit impacts

Grande Prairie residents driving downtown this summer may notice some traffic disruptions.

That is due to road closures in place for the Farmer’s market.

Each Saturday from now until September, 101 Street between 101 Avenue and 102 Avenue will close to all vehicle traffic starting at 7 a.m. before reopening at 3:35 pm.

During that time, the transit stops 802 and 804 on route 8 will also be temporarily closed; they will reopen again after 4 p.m.
