GP Grows: On Tour returns

The City of Grande Prairie’s gardening information sessions are back.

Starting Wednesday, June 18, GP Grows: On Tour will be visiting different locations in Grande Prairie to educate local gardeners of every skill level on seasonal topics.

The city’s Kase DeVries says the events invite residents to get their hands in the dirt and grow their connection to the environment.

All events run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. – just drop in!

June 18 – Battling Pests in the Garden

• O’Brien Orchard – 60 Avenue & 112 Street.

July 16 – Harvest Highlights

• Dalen Park – 98 Street & 77 Avenue.

August 13 – Tree Planting for the Future

• Hillside Rink – 9410 106 Avenue.

September 17 –Putting Your Garden to Bed for the Winter

• Dave Barr Community Centre – 9535 Prairie Road
