Canada drops four close matches in Week 2 of women’s VNL

Canada went 0-4 in Week 2 of women’s Volleyball Nations League play in Istanbul, Türkiye.

The most recent defeat was 3-2 to Belgium on Sunday in a match that was went to a tie breaker to declare a winner.

Canada’s overall record is now 2-6.

Canada will be in Arlington, Texas for Week 3 of VNL, starting with a game against Germany on July 9

Wanham’s Quinn Pelland is with Team Canada and was a starter at setter during Week 2 VNL play.
