Beaverlodge Hospital ED without onsite physician

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be closed for a large portion of the day.

From 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., the ED will be without an onsite physician; however, nursing staff will remain on site for urgent triage, assessments and referrals.

The Virtual Emergency Physician coverage is also being piloted at the Beaverlodge Hospital, and may be available for all or part of this advisory.

Anyone with an emergency can still call 911, as EMS will be rerouting calls to neighbouring facilities.
