County conducting road work along Range Road 61

The County of Grande Prairie has temporarily closed a portion of Range 61 to all but local traffic only.

Starting Thursday, June 26, and going until Saturday, June 28, the road will be closed between Highway 668 and Township Road 704A while work is ongoing.

Traffic will not be able to cross the Canfor Haul Road, while traffic along the haul road will be reduced to one lane.

Drivers are being asked to obey all signage and flag persons while in the construction zone.
