Confirmed measles case in Fairview

Alberta Health Services has been made aware that a person infectious with measles was out in a public setting in Fairview on Wednesday, June 25.

The infected was at the Fairview Health Complex Emergency Department from 6 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

Now, anyone who attended the ED, and/or was born in or after 1970 and has fewer than two documented doses of measles-containing vaccine, may be at risk for developing measles.
