Grande Prairie celebrates Canada Day 2025

Canada Day festivities are taking place at Muskoseepi Park in Grande Prairie July 1.

The day kicked off with the annual Canada Day parade through the downtown core, with hundreds of people watching despite early warnings of a potential thunderstorm.

The action continued into the park where numerous people are enjoying the day with food vendors, live music, carnival rides and games.

The activities in the park are expected to continue until midnight, with the annual fire works show to take place at 11:30 p.m.
