Grande Prairie City Council to advance Edmonton International Airport Alliance

Grande Prairie City Council is continuing their efforts to form a partnership with Edmonton International Airport (YEG).

At their Monday meeting, Council directed administration to enter into discussions for a memorandum of understanding with the YEG to advance the alliance.

According to the Grande Prairie Airport Commission, the alliance will ensure the City retains ownership of the Grande Prairie Airport, while focusing on several mandates including improving the passenger experience, maximising the economic potential of the airport, and collaborate on regional economic development initiatives.
