Two multi-million-dollar winning lottery tickets purchased in Alberta

Check your lottery tickets because two Albertans are about to become much richer.

The Western Canada Lottery Corporation (WCLC) says two LOTTO 6/49 tickets in the province have won on the Classic Draw for July 2, 2025.

“Each ticket holder is $2.5 million dollars richer,” reads a news release from the WCLC.

One of the tickets was purchased in Edmonton while the other was “somewhere in Alberta,” but outside of the two largest cities.

The winning selection on both tickets was: 6, 25, 27, 34, 38, 49. (exact match only).

The winner or winners will have one year to start their claim process, and can do so by contacting Player Care at 1-800-665-3313.
